About What's Everyone Playing

What's Everyone Playing is a real-time hype dashboard that tracks what the gaming world is playing and watching right now — pulling live signals from the two places that matter most: who's playing on Steam and who's watching on Twitch.

Where the data comes from

• Steam Web API — current concurrent player counts for each tracked title.
• Twitch Helix API — live viewer counts aggregated across every stream of a game.

How the hype score works

On every polling cycle our ingestion engine records a fresh snapshot of player and viewer numbers, then blends them into a single hype score. Logging each snapshot over time lets us chart momentum — what's surging, what's cooling off, and what's quietly climbing the charts.
